Finding people to travel with is the hard part. Stitch Travel handles the coordination — connecting you with other members heading to the same destination, liaising with travel providers on the group’s behalf, and helping you get a confirmed booking at the best available price.
Here’s how the process works from start to finish.
How trips are listed
The Stitch Travel page lists two types of trips:
Possibilities — trips a member has suggested but that don’t yet have a confirmed date or minimum group size. Expressing interest helps gauge whether a trip has enough support to go ahead.
Confirmed departures — trips with a set date that are actively taking bookings. Members who have paid their deposit are shown with a green tick.
Each trip listing shows which members have expressed interest and which have confirmed their place.
How to book
Step 1: Express your interest
To show you’re interested in a trip, select I’m interested on the trip page.
Expressing interest does not commit you to the trip. It adds you to the notification list for that trip and signals to other members that you’re considering it. You can remove yourself at any time.
Step 2: Pay your deposit
When deposits open for a trip, you’ll receive a notification. Travel Club members get priority access — deposits open to Club members first. If spaces remain, the trip may open to non-Club members.
Important: No place on a trip is confirmed until you have paid your deposit and the Stitch Travel team has confirmed your booking with the travel provider.
Deposits are paid through the trip page. The Stitch Travel team will contact you to confirm your place and walk you through next steps. Once confirmed, your profile appears with a green tick on the trip listing.
Note: Travel Club members pay discounted rates on all official Stitch Trips. Non-Club members pay the standard rate if the trip opens to everyone.
Step 3: Connect with other attendees
Once your deposit is confirmed, you can connect with the other members going on the trip. Post comments on the trip page, or send private messages directly to other attendees. This is where the group takes shape — members discuss travel plans, room-sharing, and departure logistics.
Step 4: Final payment and departure
As your departure date approaches, the Stitch Travel team will notify you when final payment is due. Final payment timing varies by provider — generally 60 days before travel, though some providers require payment as early as 90–120 days out.
From there, the Stitch Travel team and your travel provider handle the logistics. The only thing left to do is pack.
Suggesting a trip
If you have a trip in mind that isn’t listed, select Suggest a trip at the top of the Travel page to start a Travel Club discussion. Other members can join the conversation, and if the group decides to go ahead, the Stitch Travel team can list it as an official Stitch Trip.
Suggesting a trip is available to Travel Club members. For a trip to be listed, it must be available through one of Stitch’s current travel partners. If you’re unsure, submit the suggestion and the team will let you know what’s possible.
Our travel partners

Trip deposits are non-refundable, except where a trip does not reach minimum numbers — in that case, deposits are refunded in full.
It is strongly recommended to arrange travel insurance to protect against unforeseen cancellations.
