How Membership Points and Status levels work

Learn how Full members earn Membership Points on Stitch and progress through Status levels.

Written by Andrew Dowling

Stitch rewards members who help grow the community. As a Full member, you earn Membership Points by inviting new members, organizing activities, and renewing your membership. Those Points move you through Stitch's five Status levels.

Who can earn Membership Points

Only Full (paying) members can earn Membership Points. Unverified and Limited members cannot earn Points and cannot progress through Status levels.

To begin earning Status, you need to have paid or renewed your Stitch membership. This grants you Bronze status — the starting point for all Full members.

How you earn Points

There are three ways to earn Membership Points:

Inviting new members — when someone joins Stitch using your personal invitation code, you earn points based on the membership plan they choose. Point values vary by plan.

Organizing activities — you earn points for each member who attends an activity you organize. Full members count for more points than Limited members.

Note: If you organize activities in an area with low community activity, Stitch may automatically award a bonus for each activity you create.

Renewing your membership — you earn points each time you pay for or renew your Stitch membership. Point values vary by plan.

The five Status levels

Once you have Bronze status, every Point you earn counts toward your next level. The five levels are:

Bronze → Silver → Gold → Platinum → Diamond

To reach or maintain a level, you need to earn the required Points within a rolling 12-month window.

The table below shows how many Points you need to earn within 12 months to reach, renew, or upgrade each Status level.

Important: If you earn fewer Points than your current level requires in a 12-month period, your Status level will drop to the highest level your Points support.

Note: Your 12-month window resets each time you reach a new level. If you reach Gold in four months, a fresh 12-month window starts from that date.

What Status levels unlock

Higher Status levels increase your daily viewing and messaging limits on Stitch, and may unlock other community benefits. To see what your current Status level includes, visit your Status & Rewards page.
