Sometimes you want to do something but are not ready to organize a full event, you just want to see who else is interested first. That is what activity suggestions are for on Stitch.
A suggestion is an idea you put out to the community without committing to organize anything. You are not booking a venue or setting a date, you are simply saying "I would love to do this, who is with me?" If someone expresses interest, Stitch notifies you and asks that you respond to them.

Where can I find suggestions made by members in my area?
Suggestions appear on the Events & Activities feed alongside organized activities. You can find them by following these steps:
Select Community from the top navigation bar.
Select Activities from the drop down.
The Events & Activities page will open. Suggestions are displayed here alongside scheduled activities.
Look for cards with a Suggestion badge - this badge identifies a suggestion that does not yet have a confirmed date or location.

If you click on a suggestion card, the activity page will open. Instead of a green Attend button, you will see an I'm interested button as shown below. Selecting this lets the person who created the suggestion know you want to join them.
Note: After you select I'm interested, the suggestion creator will be notified and you should expect to hear back from them in a day or two.
How do I create a suggestion?
To create a suggestion on Stitch, follow these steps:
Select Community from the top navigation bar to open the Events & Activities feed.
Select Activities from the drop down
Select the Suggest an Activity button in the top right of the feed.
The Create an Activity flow will open. Select Suggest - this path lets you propose an idea without a confirmed date or location.
Enter a title for your suggestion.
Write a personal message - explain why you want to do this activity and what you are hoping to find.
Add a description with any relevant details about your idea.
If your suggestion is only relevant for a limited time, add an expiry date. For example, if you want to attend a concert that ends on a specific date, set that date as the expiry so the suggestion is automatically removed afterward. An expiry date is optional.
Submit your suggestion. Stitch will review it before it appears on the feed.
Important: If you create a suggestion and members express an interest, Stitch expects you to respond to them.
What happens when someone expresses an interest in my suggestion?
When a member selects I'm interested on your suggestion, Stitch sends you a notification. From there, it is up to you to reach out and start a conversation with them.
If you and the interested member decide to go ahead and plan something together, you can keep it as a private arrangement between the two of you, or you can post it as a scheduled activity if you would like other Stitch members to join.
How do I turn my suggestion into a scheduled activity?
Once members have expressed interest in your suggestion, you can convert it into a full scheduled activity directly from the suggestion page.
Open the details page for your suggestion.
Select the Make this an activity button at the top of the page as shown in the screenshot below.
Stitch will carry across the details from your suggestion into a new activity draft.
Add the required details: date, time, and location.
You will be asked whether to keep the original suggestion listed on the feed or remove it once the activity is published. Choose whichever suits you.
Submit the activity.
