If you would like to delete your account, or else deactivate your Stitch account so that it is no longer seen by any other Stitch members, perform the following steps:
Managing multiple accounts effectively is crucial, as it ensures that you streamline your experience and avoid confusion. Below, you'll find guidance on both single account management and handling multiple accounts within Stitch.
How to Deactivate or Delete Your Stitch Account
Go to the top menu and select MORE.
Choose Profile & Settings.
Select Account Information.
Scroll to the Deactivation & Deletion section.
Select Close your account.
Key Considerations Before Proceeding
Confirm the correct email address linked to the account you want to change. This avoids mistakes when managing multiple accounts.
If you cannot log in or recover your password, contact Stitch Support for assistance.
If you have more than one Stitch account, decide which account to keep based on:
Verified status
Active memberships
Historical activity
Ensure you are logged into the account you want to keep before starting a deactivation or deletion.
Options Available
You will see two choices:
1. Deactivate Your Account
Your profile and connections will be hidden.
Other members will not be able to contact you.
Your profile and connections can be restored in the future.
Use this option if you want a temporary break and may return later.
2. Delete Your Account
Your profile, connections, and all account data will be permanently deleted.
This action cannot be undone.
Once deleted, you will not be able to log back in.
Next Steps
Select the option you prefer (Deactivate or Delete).
Click Next.
Stitch will ask you to confirm your choice.
Once confirmed:
If you deactivate, you will be logged out but can reactivate later by logging back in.
If you delete, you will be logged out and the account will be permanently removed.
