Stitch uses the highest level of data encryption in order to keep your data safe.

Every page on Stitch is secured using full SSL encryption over HTTPS. You can always tell when the data on Stitch is being encrypted in this way, as your browser will show you a symbol indicating this alongside our address. Each browser shows this a little bit differently, but this is how it looks in Google Chrome:

In addition, Stitch has elected to use the highest level of SSL certification in order to achieve Symantec Trust Certification from Norton. You can always check our current security rating with Symantec by going to the Norton Safeweb site and typing in "stitch.net".

What about my credit card payments?

I'm glad you asked! Stitch has selected a very secure third-party credit card system called Stripe for all our credit card transactions.

Stripe is a payment system, much like PayPal, that allows companies like Stitch to receive payments from their members in a quick, simple, and secure way. Stripe charges monthly fees for use of their system, however, Stitch covers those costs – our members will never pay the Stripe usage fees.

Why do we use Stripe?

Stripe is an extremely secure payment system. As you know, Stitch takes safety very seriously, and Stripe allows us to make sure our members' credit card information is kept private and secure at all times. Stripe is certified to PCI Service Provider Level 1, which is the highest level of certification. Thousands of businesses use Stripe, and we strongly believe it is the best and most secure payment system out there.
